Where it all began!
Hi, I’m Shilpa – and if there’s one thing my husband Arun and I love, its food! Like so many of us, we found ourselves in the middle of the lockdown, missing the unforgettable taste of Bangalore’s street food, especially that tangy, spicy masala puri. With street vendors out of reach, we decided to take matters into our own hands – and by “hands,” I mean countless hours in the kitchen, trying to recreate that perfect bowl of masala puri. But let’s just say the process was… lengthy, and we knew there had to be a faster way to bring these flavors to life.
When Arun and I moved to the UK, it hit us even harder – our favorite South Indian street foods were nowhere to be found! It was during one of those craving-filled mornings that Arun came up with a wild idea: Why not create a ready-to-cook premix that gives us all the flavors at home, without the long prep time?
After three years of experimenting, taste-testing, and a few laughable kitchen disasters, we finally cracked the code. But we weren’t done yet! We returned to India, eager to bring these flavors to life for everyone else who missed them as much as we did. And that’s how Luv2eat was born.
Now, we’re excited to share our Bangalore-style Masala Puri, multi-flavored Pani Puri, Karnataka-style Nati Pulao, and over ten varieties of thepla mix – with many more on the way. Each product is crafted with pure ingredients, zero artificial additives, and maximum flavor. We want to make enjoying authentic, Indian food as easy as possible – so you can savor the taste of home, wherever you are.
